My Background

My early career began with work that quickly convinced me that I really enjoyed working with the public and developing relationships with clients. Working in a real estate office gave me the opportunity to learn different aspects of a Realtor’s job. As a RE Assistant to a well-known realtor with a brokerage office with many Realtors, I was exposed to everything involved with the business: contracts, mortgages, negotiating, follow-up, and that accuracy counts.

After 5 years, I became a licensed Real Estate Agent and continued working for the owner and this team-based arrangement turned into an optimal work environment. Although much of our work involved residential transactions, we worked with many real estate investors as well.

In 2006 I made a change, as many professionals did, and started a bookkeeping position with a restoration and remodel company, which was my introduction to QuickBooks.

During the pandemic, I began to offer remote/virtual bookkeeping, realizing I really preferred the profession and it made sense to work toward launching a business. It also made perfect sense to focus on offering my expertise to real estate investors.

How I differ from other bookkeepers

• I have 16 years of successful experience in the very industry I now service, including all aspects of RE sales, experience with foreclosures, short sales, and BPOs, and a keen interpretation of closing statements

• I have a firm understanding of the details involved with RE investments

• QuickBooks Online enables rapid access to reports for investment analysis

• I have had specific training to be proficient with data input, a critical element for accurate comparisons

• My focus is centered on Real Estate Investors seeking an exceptional bookkeeper who is familiar with their industry
